Trader Joe's Spicy Chicken Sausages: These sausages bring a spicy and savory layer of flavor. TJ's sausages have minimal ingredients which is why I like them!
Feta Cheese Crumbles: Be sure the feta cheese has minimal ingredients on the list without preservatives or artificial additives for the best bet.

How to Make Trader Joe's Holiday Hash With Sausage and Quinoa
Step 1: After soaking the quinoa for at least 3 hours, give it a rinse. Add it to the Instant Pot with a cup of chicken broth and a teaspoon of 21 seasoning salute. Set the Instant Pot to cook for 1 minute on high pressure, then allow it to release naturally. Once done, fluff the quinoa with a fork and keep it aside.
Step 2: As the quinoa cooks, heat your skillet to medium-high heat. Make a single puncture line on each sausage and cook them for about 5-6 minutes on each side, then set aside to cool slightly.
Step 3: Chop the cooked sausages into small, bite-sized pieces.
Step 4: In a separate large skillet, warm the avocado oil over medium-high heat. Add the Holiday Hash to the skillet, along with a teaspoon of the seasoning. Sauté for 10 minutes, stirring it continuously until vegetables are soft and lightly golden brown.
Step 5: Mix in sliced sausages and sprinkle in the feta cheese crumbles. Continue to stir the mixture for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Step 6: To serve, layer the flavorful hash mixture over a bed of the prepared quinoa. Your dish is now ready to enjoy!
Hint: A quick way to chop the sausage: slice each sausage lengthwise once then cut across into bite-sized pieces. Also, be sure to adjust the liquid-to-quinoa ratio depending on the duration of soaking. Check our article: Sprouted quinoa for more information!
Storage
After allowing it to cool, transfer the quinoa and hash mixture into separate airtight containers. This can be refrigerated for up to 5 days.
If you have prepared extra quinoa or hash, it's a good idea to store them separately. This allows for more flexibility in using them as bases for other recipes or as additions to salads, soups, or omelets.
Reheating: For reheating safely, we recommend reheating it in a skillet over medium heat, adding a bit of broth or water to keep it from drying out.
Top tip
Cook times should overlap. Cook the quinoa in the instant pot while cooking the sausages and holiday hash on separate skillets all at the same time.
Pairing
We paired this recipe with steamed green beans and it tasted delicious. Any green vegetable or side salad would work wonderfully.
